Inspired By Land's End's Apostrophe
Land's End is not just sweater sets and monogrammed tote bags for your momma (though they sure make her look stylish)! It's for everybody. I've demonstrated over and over again on this blog how Land's End is a true staple in my wardrobe. Just last week, I styled my favorite floral skirt that I can see myself wearing all year-round. I'm consistently inspired by the classic silhouettes, clean lines, and fun color combinations each season's line showcases and this fall is no exception. Just a few weeks ago, I was shopping at the mall and I ended up snapping a picture of nearly every mannequin in Land's End because their layering was so spot-on. I wanted to tuck those ideas away to recreate later this fall. That's why I was so surprised to discover that Land's End puts out a quarterly magazine called Apostrophe! They've been doing so for a year now and are celebrating their "anniversary" of sorts. I can't believe I didn't know about this magazine before. Instead of creepily taking pictures of mannequins, I can find inspiration from flipping through this online publication. And it's not just for women--men, you can find all sorts of ideas to integrate trends with classic pieces that never go out of style.

Apostrophe is full of outfits, color stories, fun articles, and helpful tips for the new season's wardrobe. They feature a really cool 5 x 5 series for work, featuring five ways to wear five pieces during the work week. I also particularly enjoyed the Navy and Silver and Black and Gold color schemes they featured for fall:
This Pittsburgh girl can't help but be attracted to some black and gold love. <3 And no surprise that both of these looks featured a striped top in them...oops.
There's so many other things to love in Land's End right now. Browsing through the magazine and scrolling through LandsEnd.Com has me seriously considering a closet revamp and/or a capsule wardrobe. Look at these gorgeous autumn staples:
I've been searching for months for a jacket like this one! And I seriously can't stop swooning over the dress--I see major swing dancing/holiday party potential in it. I am loving the soft neutrals and delicate lace in this top, which is a stark contrast to the saturated jewel tones and strong lines I tend to wear in the fall. And do I need to even address that gorgeous tartan number on the right? Perfection.
If you'll excuse me, I'll be going to Land's End now. Hope you'll join me! If you're more of an online shopper, click here to receive free shipping on orders of $50 or more!
