He Said, She Said Bridal Shower Game Printable
Last weekend was the first of two wedding showers for my brother Justin and his fiance Kate. They're getting married in October and I couldn't be more thrilled! Unfortunately, I was away in Chicago on my "business" trip so I was not able to attend this shower, but it was a small bridal shower at my house with just our family. This upcoming week, we'll be headed to New York where Kate is from for a really big "pre-wedding reception" (and bachelorette party!) so I'm grateful I am able to make that! Because I wasn't able to make the bridal shower, I wanted to help my mom out by planning some of the games. My family doesn't really care for your typical shower games, so I tried to be a bit more creative and found that it was HARD! Does anyone else feel that way about bridal and baby showers? Naturally, I turned to Pinterest for inspiration and came across this idea. Knowing that Justin and Kate actually "met" through Twitter (of all things), I thought I could adapt this game to include tweets!
It's called He Said, She Said and it's a list of tweets that either Justin or Kate have said and it's up to the guests to decide who said what. It's a great way for people to get to know the couple better and test their knowledge of their family member or friend. Even though I wasn't there, I was told it was hit with my family and everyone, including the bride, had a fun time playing.
Here's an "edited" version so you can get a better idea of how it works:
Because I can't just type things up in Word and leave it in Times New Roman and call it a day, I created a printable that I customized for Justin and Kate's shower. And because I'm super nice, I've created an editable printable for you too! You can download it here: He Said She Said Wedding Shower Game Template. Feel free to edit as you please, but please keep the credit listed in the footer. Thanks much!
I used Lemme Tweet That For You to snag a screenshot of Justin and Kate's Twitter handles/profile pictures. (By the way, if you haven't used that generator before, try it! It's super fun! I used it for a project in the past.) I pasted those pictures in the two columns on the right.
If you have any more questions about the printable or the game, let me know! This could obviously be adapted for any social platform, texts, or just good ol' quotes.
