Join us for the 3rd Pantone-Inspired Color Challenge
Hey everyone! It's that time of year again! Heidi from Literate & Stylish and I are putting together our THIRD Pantone-Inspired Color Challenge this spring! We hosted a spring and fall challenge last year and are so excited to bring it back again this year. If you're not familiar with the challenge, allow me to explain! Heidi and I have selected five colors from Pantone's list of spring colors. We assign each day of the week one of these colors and we challenge you (and ourselves) to mix up your wardrobe to include that color in at least one of your pieces that day! We take pictures and share them with each other in one big link party. It's an awesome way to be creative with your wardrobe, break out of the same old clothing rut, and enjoy a community with our blogging friends. Don't worry if you don't own the exact shade of color we chose! The idea is just to be more creative with our looks, not to buy an entirely new wardrobe (though you are more than welcome if you need an excuse :P).
Here are two of my favorite looks from the last two challenges:
Our Pantone challenge will take place next week, April 14-18th, so you have a whole week to plan ahead! I think you'll find the colors we picked are very accessible and perfect for spring. Heidi and I love to see new faces that week, so we will have everyone head over to her blog to link up on Monday and Tuesday, and head over here to The Modern Austen for Wednesday through Friday.
Without further ado, here is the line-up for next week.
We tried to mix it up with a nice palette of both saturated and muted tones in fresh, spring colors. You can check out the other Pantone colors of the season here.
We hope that you'll join us next week by:
- Writing up a blog post and linking up on Heidi's blog Monday and Tuesday and my blog Wednesday-Friday. Be sure to link back to our blogs in your post with a link or with the button below OR
- By participating via Instagram with the hashtag #pantonechallenge and the color of the day (i.e. #radiantorchid) and tagging me in it @themodernausten (feel free to tag @pantone in it, too!)
You may be showcased in mine or Heidi's favorite looks of the week! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments below!
