PANTONE-Inspired Fall Color Challenge: Day 2: Turbulence

It's day 2 of the PANTONE-Inspired Fall Color Challenge! Thanks so much for joining Heidi and me again! You can read more about the challenge here and view all of yesterday's beautiful entries using the color Vivacious here!

Today's color is Turbulence and it's a cool shade of steel-gray. I think it's a modern neutral that can be paired with other vivid and bright colors (perhaps Vivacious, Koi, or Acai?).

This outfit was a definite risk for me. I have never been gutsy enough to pair a short-sleeved open cardigan like this with a button-down blouse before; I've always settled for the v-neck sweater or classic cardigan. I found that by adding the necklace, the two pieces worked well together. If Turbulence hadn't been the color, I probably wouldn't have worn this cardigan at all so this just proves that the PANTONE-Inspired challenge is working!

This was the first time I broke out the boots this fall and it was wonderful! I really should've worn flat boots, however, because I was on my feet for hours. Oops. I've learned my lesson.

Also, I am digging my hair in these pictures. I followed the Voluminous Waves tutorial on The Small Things Blog and LOVED the results. This is after a long day and it still looks pretty decent.

Anyway, how are you wearing your Turbulence today? Link up below and/or tag me on social media! #pantonechallenge #turbulence
