Ahhhh summer. I'm keeping this post short and sweet today, but I thought I'd talk briefly about dressing for summer. The outfit above was what I wore on my first "real" day of summer--the one after my surprise vacation when I went home to Pittsburgh--and admittedly, it's more "put together" than what I usually do in the summer. Then again, my past summers were spent as a day camp counselor so I lived in t-shirts, shorts, and bathing suits. I'm going to try to be more intentional and fun with my summer clothing this year, but I have this thing about not "wasting" outfits. Do you do that too or is that just me? If I'm not going to be seeing anyone or going out somewhere special, I hate to wear something really nice or something I might want to save for later. I end up neglecting the stuff I actually really like in my wardrobe. However, I'm trying to wear clothes for me and to dictate what kind of mood I want to be in. For example, I always find I'm more productive when I wear something I not only feel good in, but something that looks nice too.
What do you wear in the summer? How do you stay cool, comfortable, and put together?
