Statement Necklaces

I'll be the first to admit that while I love jewelry, I am not that great at putting it all together. Not to mention, I'm really not into wearing huge pieces, especially earrings. Anyway, I'm trying to get better about this whole thing, especially because I see the value in a good accessory, so I've started with statement necklaces. My "statement necklaces" don't really make much of a statement, but they certainly do help pull outfits together. My Statement Necklaces

  1. I got this in high school (from Target) and I'm pretty sure I was on to the "bubble necklace" trend WAY before everyone else. I'm so hipster. Not.
  2. Oddly enough, this beaded necklace is the one I wear most often and I got it from a friend's grandmother who passed away. I've worn it so many times, but here are just a few: 1, 2
  3. I just recently purchased this lovely flower necklace on clearance at Forever 21. I like it because it is school colors and totally different from any necklace I own.
  4. This black necklace is a bit fancy, so I don't wear it often, but it's great for dressier outfits like this one.

I think one of the reasons I've been so inspired recently is because I discovered Stella & Dot via other blogs. I can't believe how cute some of the necklaces and other jewels Stella & Dot sells! I almost considered becoming a stylist myself, but right now I am just an affiliate (you can become one, too!) Even celebrities are taking notice:

Elizabeth Banks: Stella & Dot Medina Bib Necklace Carly Rae Jepsen: Spring Awakening Necklace Shay Mitchell: Stella & Dot Pegasus Necklace

Cute, right? I particularly love the style of the first one and the colors of the second. I just don't always think I could pull them off! Especially with how large they are.

Do you wear Stella & Dot? What other brands do you wear? Do you even like statement necklaces? Give me the scoop in the comments below :) I need help!
