A Touch of Spring
This past weekend's weather was a tease, but I am not complaining! I just can't wait for the season of sunshine, warm breezes, chirping birds, and pretty pastels. I just want to wear dresses and skirts without any tights! In the mean time, I took advantage of today's "mild" temperatures to wear cropped pants for the first time in ages. And it felt great.
This past weekend, I went home to Pittsburgh and headed out to IKEA's BYOF event. Did any of you go? I had a great time with my parents and ended up making a purchase I've been dreaming about for quite some time. I bought this fabulous Expedit shelving unit, these Kassett boxes to store my craft stuff, and a great area rug for only $20! Because I received a pretty generous thank you gift for helping out with our middle school musical, I really only spent about $13 out-of-pocket for everything. Now that's what I call shopping! :)
I also got the chance to eat at Burgatory and it was delicious! I ordered a custom burger and drank a Salted Nutella Crunch milkshake (nutella + crunch bars). Yum! Have you eaten there before? If so, what do you order?
What were you up to this weekend? Who is watching the season finale of The Bachelor? I'm going to a small "viewing party" with some coworkers and I can't wait! Happy Monday!
