(Lazy) Teacher Tuesday 10.2.12
Happy Teacher Tuesday everyone! I know we've ALL had those lazy days when we don't even want to put any effort into coming up with an outfit, but yet we don't like to feel like a slob either. Today is one of those days. I thought I'd show you one of my go-to outfits in the fall for those days where I don't feel like trying very much. Did I mention that it's also ridiculously comfortable, perfect for those freezing indoor temperatures, and still professional enough for the classroom?
Here's the secret formula: Jersey dress. Cardigan. Leggings. Boots. Done.
Check it out:
Dress: Goodwill Cardigan: Land's End via Sears Leggings: NY & Co. Boots: JC Penney Necklace: Forever 21 Watch: Goodwill
Any time you can snag a comfy dress that requires ZERO ironing and can be paired with pretty much anything for any season--snatch it up. I can easily dress this up with tights and heels, or make it summer casual without the cardigan and add a pair of flats or sandals. I would love to have a similar dress in a brown shade, so I will have to keep my eyes open. What's great about the black and white though is that I can literally wear ANY cardigan I want with it (see how I styled my red cardigan here). I guess I'm channeling my inner Kappa Delta today ;)
As usual, this is a LINK PARTY and you are invited! Share your teacher crafts, outfits, DIY projects, lesson plans, and strategies here! Link up to your specific blog post and grab the button on the sidebar! I will be sure to feature you in future Teacher Tuesdays! Don't forget--you don't HAVE to be a teacher to participate!
